1. Fijian  men  wear  skirts  (sulu)  to  special  events, and  work.
2. Fiji's islands were formed by volcanic activity which started around 150 million years ago.
3. The temperature in Fiji in the winter time is around 20 degrees.
4. My Aunty is from Fiji.
5. Fiji is home to several species of snakes (land and sea), geckos and iguanas.

Hi everyone, not at school today as I have a bad sore throat , and a bad cough.Mum took me to the Dr and now has got me doing some maths.argh.

NEWS FOR DOGS

News for dogs is a very good book if you ask me!!
It has eighteen chapters in it.
I like this book because it is about dogs and I like dogs!
It is about a girl and a boy, the boy's name is Bruce and the girl's name is Andi.
Andi is thinking of starting a newspaper for dogs.  Bruce does not like the idea.
They have lots of fun setting it up.

I would recommend this book to 9 to 12 year olds.

My weekend

Hi, just writing about my weekend. Here I go. I went to my old neighbours house, and it was fun.  Their farm dog has had puppies and they were cute.  

I watched some tv and played in my room.

Hi there everyone, Olivia here.
Just doing my homework on the blog, and its about Habits of Mind.
Here is an example of me managing my impulsivity - when I'm in a lollie shop, it is hard to get me out of it -
VERY hard!  I just want to buy everything it all looks sooo good.  I take a deep breath and I think, I'm going to get out of here sooner or later, but it is hard, very hard to leave.
